Twenty six years, since I last saw her in the summer of 1981...my first crush moved out of state when we were both 14.
It was unrequited, so I guess that covers both.

Oh wow! 20 years??? That's a long time. I can't top that, but i had and on/off crush on a guy across the street ever since he moved in about 10 years ago and, ironically, 2 Halloween's ago, i ended up finding out that he's been "stalking" me for at least 2 years. So now we're in a relationship and just celebrated our 1 year anniversary of being together. It took a while, but we're here now and it was definitely worth it. Better late than never. When are you gonna confess to yours? You know, Valentine's Day is coming up ;)

Mine lasted for about 2 1/2 years.. it was the most brutal thing in the world. I was in love with her so baddly but she never felt the same. I really just wanted to crawl in a hole and die. It so too much for me to bear and she really never gave a f-ck about me just pretended you know...I had enough and stopped all contact...after she said she didn't care about my feelings.
It took a long *** time .. and I might always loveher in someway but I'm looking towards the future..shes in the past. Where she belongs..
But for you to have 20 years thats too long to wait for someone.. way too long You need to move on with your life and find someone who will absolutely love you for you....even if you think you're gonna die.. I mean he's not waiting for you is he ?? Nope he's moved on..

I think it lasted 15 yrs. He wasn't any good for me and I had to realize that and get over it.

2 years...and counting. So it doesn't compare to yours but, I'm 21 so, pretty much my whole adult life has been consumed with someone who will never love me back...it's pretty frustrating.
