My favorite is Advil cold and sinus. An employer once bought it for me when I was getting sick. He didn't want me to miss work and after taking this stuff, I was at work every day, no problem.

I started using these last year and I highly recommend them for actually working and the price is great (least).

These are Walmart brands:
1. Equate Nasal Four, for your decongestant or stuffy nose so you can breath again.
2. Equate Nite Time Cold/Flu Relief taken at bed time or during the day when needed.

Of course, some preventive measures must be taken also, such as, washing your hands and disinfecting common household items like faucets, table surfaces etc. Mr Clean diluted with water in a spray bottle works well for all surface areas.

And last but not least, blow out your nose, don't let that stuff sit up there too long.

Good luck and hope these are help full, but you will never no unless you try them!!!! They work for me.

When ever I have a cold I drink tea with a slice of lemon and honey in it. I think it tastes horrible, but when your sick you can't tell the difference.
Also, when you're not trying to sleep, eat a lot of spicy foods, works almost all the time.

I really like Advil Cold and Sinus. For me it works like a charm. Be sure to read the ingredients, though, to make sure it doesn't interfere with any other medications you may be taking.

There is Alka-Seltzer gelcaps that work really wonderfully. They have both night and day gelcaps. I just get the package with both in them and take them until my cold is gone.
