Ok, I am really wanting a tatto on my left shoulder that has something to do with friendship, loyalty and love. Heres the story, going through high school I had 5 extreamly close friends, we still are very very close, and we called each other the "circle" (this is important cus everyone knows who we are talking about when we say the circle and I want it imcorperated into the tatto) and I want a tatto that shows our friendship, loyalty, and love for each other. I am trouble coming up wiht a design I want for it but I want it to incorperate the "circle" mean and the 5 guys (6 with me). If you would please post any idea or links to sketches that you have made it would be greatly appreactated for my first tatto. Thanks a lot.
Kyle

That's an example of a Claddagh. The hands are shown holding the heart and the hands denote friendship and togetherness, the heart itself signifies love and the crown stands for loyalty.

First of all, go to a respectable tatoo artist, because you can get serious infections from a tatoo. Second, remember, it is for life. Pick out something you can live with the rest of your life, and something your grandchildren won't be ashamed of when you are old and take them to the beach! If you guys are all that close, get together, pick out one that really means something to all of you, go together to get them, and it will be an experience for a lifetime. I have a tatoo, and I'm 55 years old. My grandchildren love my butterfly and they know the meaning of it also. It is in a place where I can display it gracefully and also hide it when I am dressed up. This is a life time thing, just think it over for awhile. Good luck. I know a family of boys who all have the same tatoo done when they turn 16 years old. It's really nice too.

Why don't you all have the same tattoo? Put your heads together and come up with a logo. How about a circle encompassing all of your initials attached together to form a circle? That would be my idea for starters.

Don't get a tattoo of that because you might regret it later in life. What if you guys get into a fight or something else goes on, you never know. Make a custom shirt instead with the design.

First research a really good tattoo artist.
Go with your friends to the shop and
have a brain storm. The artist will be
able to help you come up with a great
idea..with your help. That's what they do.

What about six zodiac symbols in a circle. Or the Chinese symbol for circle, or "circle" in an interesting font. Good luck.
