The unforgivable sin or blaspheme against the Holy Spirit can only be done by God’s elect when they are delivered up for a testimony.

Matt.12:31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

Mark 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:

Luke 12:10 And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.
Luke 12:11 And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:
Luke 12:12 For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.

Mark 13:11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.

Luke 21:12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.
Luke 21:13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.
Luke 21:14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:
Luke 21:15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

The unforgivable sin will not happen because that God’s elect cannot wait for the opportunity, adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

at the same time as someone sees the sparkling evidence offered by technique of the Holy Spirit (like a real miracle) yet is so adverse to it that he rejects it, he blasphemes the Spirit and won't be able to be forgiven. the reason he won't be able to be forgiven is they do no longer avail themselves to the forgiveness God can provide. What the Pharisees were doing become suppressing the evidence offered by technique of the Spirit. They persisted to attempt this. It become sin for them to finish that. Jesus noted as this blasphemy of the Spirit. The Hebrew author noted as it insulting the Spirit of Grace. man or woman who continuously suppresses the reality God sends received't obtain saving grace. therefore, he can't in any respect be forgiven. The Son of guy is Jesus.

Great video, but some people don't like to click on links, or may not be able to watch it due to software/hardware issues or speed of internet.

The answer to your question is, blaspheme means to curse , or to utter obscenities or profanities. To do this against the holy spirit would be using it in a sentence of swearing or cursing, such as; "I curse the holy spirit", or "the holy spirit can go f*** itself".

To do this, according to christianity and the bible, is an unforgivable sin punishable by eternal torment in the fires of hell.

Example: To say that this or that group of Christians are not Christians. That is a sin against the Holy Spirit. You do not know where the Spirit is or is not. And to say that another Christian is not a Christian is a sin. I think the Fundamentalist are misguided, but I have never said that they were not Christians. But they have said that about me and other members of main line churches.

I asked this question yesterday, I call it what did Luke...... mean. Check it out.
My conclusion is that it means, that when the holy spirit tells us that a sin is wrong, we should not tell ourselves that it was right. By convincing ourselves that a sin is right, that we know in our heart and conscience is wrong, we are blaspheming the holy spirit.

Simple, this is a cutting off of contact with the holy spirit of God,now if you stop the contact, you cut it off, then of course the spirit of God cant be with you,its the unpardonable sin, a sin is anything that comes between you and the spirit of god, the spirit is what guides you, helps you, you can ask of it, and get answers, it can do miracles in your life, and so much more, but if you denie it, don't want it, will not accept it into you then of course it can be with you.and someday lead you to heaven, if someone threw you a line, and your in a river rushing down towards a huge massive dangerous water fall ,and you refuse the line, NO, I do not want it, then well. you see my point.you must ask of the spirit to come into you, if you blasphemy then you decide NO I don't want the spirit, it not Gods fault. The spirit is right here right now, go to your knees ask it in with faith and your now linked, with it, don't ask then its not linked to you, its very very simple. Some people actually think that this blasphemy is like cursing god or something that he takes offense that's childish.the wonderful Spirit of God is a lifeline to heaven.and eternal life and love and fulfillment and peace and forgiveness. and so much more .wisdom and knowledge, take that lifeline of the Spirit with faith . before its to late. Its right here, take it please. take it right now

31 Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven men. 32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.
--Matthew 12:31, 32

blasphemy
Blasphemia(greek)
slander, detraction, speech injurious, to another's good name
impious and reproachful speech injurious to divine majesty; speaking evil, slanderous, reproachful, railing, abusive

Example
If I were to witness the gifts of the Holy Spirit, but spoke evil against the Holy Spirit saying it wasn't the spirit of god but of satan (speaking evil in that manner), then that's blashemy against the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Ghost is the comforter that Jesus said he would leave with us.He is the one that convicts you of your sins and calls you unto salvation. He will stand beside you in all your conflicts. To deny him is to blaspheme him.

It is attributing the works of the Holy Spirit to Satan/demons just look at what the Pharisee's were doing to Jesus accusing him of getting his power from Beelzebub.

To blasphemy requires one to have a perfect knowledge of God not just faith in Him and then to turn from and knowingly go against His will. A good example would be that of Satan. He was a choice or elect being of God but then turned from and continues to fight against his will, hence Blasphemy

Blasphemy is often refered to in much more casual use but in reality only a very few men have ever had the ability to blasphemy.
