You do need to see your doctor and tell him all the symptoms. It could be sleep paralysis (a sleep disorder where your body cannot move, but you hear and see things that are not really there - many people who believe they have been abducted by aliens suffer from sleep paralysis) or something with your central nervous system or epilepsy. Epilepsy can take many different forms for seisures, they don't all present like the massive shaking to the floor. Some are so subtle that only the person having the seisure knows what is going on.
Good luck, take notes of your symptoms to your Dr.

This sounds like what could be a side effect of psychotropic drugs or an allergic reaction to a drug? Different drugs can mess with your brain in different ways so I hope you're not doing drugs. There could be a chemical inbalance in your brain that will lead to more serious issues. This could be a type of seizure. But, I've had this thing where I realize I'm in a dream and I try to wake up and I can't. When I do wake up, I feel freaked out like. This is nothing to be embarrased to tell your doctor about, lots of people have experienced things like this.

A lot of time issues with sleep have to do with not getting enough at night. You say you nap. Are you getting at least 8 hours at night? If you're not, that could be causing this. My boyfriend has been getting 4 or less for the last month, and he has episodes where he sits up in bed while napping or sleeping, and starts saying things to me, but when questioned later remembers none of this, cause he was sleep talking/walking. When he DOES consistantly get enough sleep, there is absolutely none of the sleep talking. And you shouldn't be embarrassed to talk to your doctor, because this is not an embarrassing problem.

First do not be scared to inform your family doctor there may be some medication that would be helpful to you. Talk to the husband also, husbands always worry about their wives and will almost always try to help. If these two avenues are not able to help some people tell their religious guides and ask for assistance. Good luck in whatever you try.

What's wrong with telling your doctor? They're there for a reason and believe me I've heard of people going to the doctor for a lot less than what you're worried about and they don't feel stupid.
If you can't trust them with your all your health problems than who CAN you trust? I would be far more scared to tell people online that I didn't know...who have no training in mental health and the weird answers they would give me than I would going to someone who went to SCHOOL for this kind of stuff.

This condition is sometimes called sleep paralysis - you needn't worry about this - lots of people experience this sort of thing. Hallucinations are part of the experience, and they can be very disconcerting. Here's a link describing sleep paralysis, and another describing the hallucinations. You might want to make an appointment with a sleep specialist.

my good friend was thought of as a slacker all through jr. high and high school, cuz teachers would ask her questions but she'd completly ignore them. she said she'd look at the clock and them what felt like a few seconds later she'd look again, but it'd been like half an hour. she went to a doctor and it turned out she had epilepsy. a very mild case though. now she takes medication and she's fine. i'd suggest going to a doctor.

I think you aren't getting enough sleep. You might just be experiencing these things due to sleep deprivation/ Take some Benadryl and see if it works. If not, see you doc asap. Good luck hun!

I don't know what to tell youm except, Please go to your doctor as soon as you can about this. Get a physical-and blood work done. That should help-or the doctor may refer you to a specialist-neurologist, etc. Take care.
