Yes.

When you have a "real job" you can do as you wish.

Just because you can say it doesn't mean you should, did you think about it or mean to open something you cannot control.

I guess the principal could allow hate speech, racism, threats, etc...so you can have your "rights" but is that really what it is all about in a high school community environment? Someone must be the monitor of reason.

Yes. As long as the newspapers are published on school property, during school hours, using school supplies. The Principal must have oversight due to liability concerns and public decency standards.

It depends. Is the material obscene, slanderous or defamatory? If not, he should not censor it.
