You defiantly need to call a vet, especially if the dog messed with the battery.

Tasty treat! Why do dogs like to eat electronics? Seriously, you need to keep a real close eye on him. Look at what part of phone he actually ingested and how sharp, large, etc the pieces.
Somewhat depends on his size of mouth and did he swallow whole pieces or really chew and gnaw. I assume this just happened? Dogs can survive chewing some strange things.
You want to watch for gagging or like trying to vomit up or problems with stool/bloody. He may be able to eliminate so gotta check. I know, maybe gross, but important.
Better to be safe than sorry. Call your vet in morning. May want to xray to see if any pieces in stomach or blocking. He might appear just fine and then he is in trouble and it's a major emergency deal. Keep a close eye during the night. Put him in your room/bed so if something starts going wrong you will be able to know. Most vets have a emergency after hour # so check that out now.

Did he actually swallow the parts, or were there a lot laying around on the floor. My dog likes to chew on ball point pens and leaves the pieces all over the floor. I agree with the battery comments. If he did manage to destroy the battery, I would have a vet check your dog out. Other wise if he/she left a lot of little parts on the floor, I would not worry.

Most likely the object is too big to be either pooped out or thrown up without causing serious damage to your dog's insides. I would get him to a vet immediately.
Like, within the next hour.
He will probably have to be x-rayed and then anesthetized for whatever removal technique your vet thinks is best.
