hi. tomorrow i go for trianing for my new job and was trying to figure out how much i would make a month.

i would make eight dollar an hour and work 18 hours a week. so thats $144.00 a week and $576.00 a month

but how much do they take out for taxes>? i was thinking maybe 40% but im not sure. help would be apprechated thank you!

As a general guideline only, you can expect that ole Unc. Sam is going to take around 10 to 15 % of your check at the years end (including any return). More will likely be taken out of each check and you will get a return in March of next year.

It depends on how many exemptions you put on your tax form. I would think you could claim exempt with your income level.

It will be less than 40% based on your income. I would imagine 18%.

it's about 25% to 30%. the more you make , the more they take.

I think it's actually 30% on average.

Pennsylvania, single, no dependents.
