Although I was baptized, I do not have any belief in a higher power. But I still do question the exist of God. If He is real, why does He get to decide the fate of my after/next life? What if I wanted to commit suicide? Why is that such a sin and why should I be punished for my decision? Why should I suffer even more in Hell for wanting to end my suffering on Earth? Or, why should I have to suffer even more in my next life? Why is it that I will be reborn into a miserable life, living under horrible circumstances because of my past life? Why can't we just rest in peace after we die? Like, once we're dead, can't we just stay dead?
I really don't understand any of this and am starting to lose faith in everything. I know there is no definite answer to any of my questions, but it still bothers me that, if there is a God, why does he get to decide what happens to me after death.

It seems from your question that you aren't "starting" to lose your faith; you already have. You're questioning the illogical premises of a faith that controls you. God isn't controlling you. Of course there's no definite answer to your question, it's deeply flawed. You'll probably get a lot of answers telling you this is because the bible SAYS it. (Depending on subjective interpretation of that book which in itself has gone through so many changes, each contradicting the other.) Or, they will tell you to pray. I think you're past that. Don't you?
Edit: As to watcherd, I can't see that you in any way pointed to your limited fleshly human fallible parents (UGH) as scapegoats. & the analogy of reading a manual about a vehicle made by limited fleshly fallible people to living you life based on faith & fancy of a book is ludicrous. (Also written by limited fleshly fallible humans.)

You are a free moral agent, just like Adam and Eve were. God is not going to 'control' you. He doesn't want puppets. He wants people who will follow the standards he has set because they realize that everything he has told us is, in the long run, what is best.
As for 'suffering in Hell', that is a fiction brought into apostate Christianity from pagan religions. The Bible doesn't teach that. What the Bible does say is:
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Ecclesiastes 9:5 For the living know they will die; but the dead do not know anything, nor have they any longer a reward, for their memory is forgotten. 6 Indeed their love, their hate and their zeal have already perished, and they will no longer have a share in all that is done under the sun.
Ecclesiastes9:10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might; for there is no activity or planning or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol where you are going.
Psalm 146:4 His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground; in that day his thoughts do perish.
When a person dies, his impersonal spirit does not go on existing in another realm as a spirit creature. It "returns to the true God who gave it." (Ecclesiastes 12:7) This means that any hope of future life for that person now rests entirely with God.
So, when you do die, that is it. Just like going to sleep, but you don't wake up until the resurrection.

Why in the world do you feel that God is controlling you?
That would be horrible to feel someone is watching and
judging you. That's creepy. The truth is that the Lord is there
if you want Him and if you need Him. Otherwise, you both
go your separate ways. He has other things to do other than
watch somebody all day. Honestly, He really doesn't want
to be your policeman.

I just delivered to you a brand new and extremely complicated and unpredictable vehicle of extraordinary beauty. Don't you want to even GAZE at the owner's manual to see how thing's should work? You'd rather believe that this vehicle will purr without an oil change, run forever without occasional tune-ups and never ever ever even POSSIBLY be in an accident because of your misjudgement.
Get a grip.
Without your Maker and HIS warranty you will never be satisfied. Look into HIS promises TODAY.
And DON"T point at your limited fleshly human fallible parents as scapegoats.

The fact that you can admit that you don't understand is where you need to find your hope. You have been "trained" to believe that certain things are a fact concerning God and your future. I suggest you put away your preconceived ideas of what God would do to someone in the future about something they did in their life and sincerely seek out what God would have you to do from this point forward in your life. Don't believe everything you have been taught. Find out for yourself who and what God is. Ask Him to lead you into the truth. He will.

You don't have to live your life under the control of any God. It's all up to you.
And any God that would punish people by burning them in Hell is frankly not worthy of worship or praise in the first place.

The only answer I can really think of is, because He created you. You owe your existence to Him. If that isn't a good reason, I don't know what is. I don't believe it says that in the Bible, but it strikes me as a good reason.

You don't. I don't live that way. You could just stop being afraid of the boogie man.
You need to do a little reading and figure it out.

Last i heard, he gave us freewill. What control? also, I would prefer his control and lead a healthy. happy life, rather than have no control and live a messy, sloppy, addictive, dependent, existence.
