Whether one believes in miracles or not depends on how one defines a miracle. I am an atheist, and I define a miracle as an occurrence that goes against the laws of nature. I don't think this does, has or will ever happen. There are things that are beyond the scope of current natural or scientific explanation. But just because we cannot currently EXPLAIN why or how a thing has occurred, does not mean that an explanation does not exist. Thousands of years ago, humans didn't understand many things, such as the sun, thunder, death, etc. And they attributed these "miracles" then to all sorts of different gods. We know now that all these occurrences have perfectly reasonable, scientific explanations. Just like our 'miracles' of today do. Hopefully, we'll all be around to find out what these explanations are.

What do you mean by miracles?
* Things which are very unlikely? Yes, they sometimes happen.
* Things which cannot be explained? It's difficult to explain everything; sometimes we fail to find an explanation.
* Things caused by any gods, their servants, or any combination, which break the laws of physics? Never happened, never will.
