are you too lazy because you don't have any energy or because you are too uninterested?

are you too "lazy" to do things you really want to do or just the things you have to do or think you should do?

if you don't have the physical energy to do things you really want to do, see a doctor.

if you can't find anything that you really want to do, you may be clinically depressed--see a doctor.

otherwise, i have a rule, the more i don't want to do something, the more need to do it and so all i make myself do is start.

if i don't want to go to the gym, i make myself put on my gym clothes and go. when i get there if i don't want to do anything, i tell myself that i just have to do something for 5 minutes and then i can go home. once i start i almost always stay for a workout.

if I don't want to do a school assignment, i tell myself that all i have to do is the first step and put in 5 minutes of effort, once i do that i discover the rest leads itself.

just start--it is the hardest part. do it and then the hard part is over.

good luck.

I had the same problem entering high school and I HATED it.

I would make sure to get a bunch of sleep at night eventhough some nights can be hectic. I wouldn't take a shower/bath before you go to sleep at night, instead I'd take a bath in the morning because showers are proven to be an instant wake-up call in the morning. Also, what has always worked for me, it to set your alarm clock about an hour earlier before you have to wake up so you know you have that extra hour and you are able to become refreshed.

I would also drink a bunch of water because that always helps you and stay AWAY from the fatty foods because those can really slow you down. If you keep a good diet it will help you maintain more energy.

You also don't have to start a gym and pay outrageous fees when you can work out at home. You can walk around your neighborhood, work out a workout plan for your spare time during the day even if it's just 30 minutes of running in place or doing sit-ups.

I'd get a notebook and write notes in about what you eat and how much you exercise and keep how much you are sleeping at night and how it effects you and compare how your different habits are effecting you and how you feel throughout the day.

Take notes, exercise, eat healthy, and drink lots of water and I think you'll be "disaster free" before long!

Good luck and good for you for trying to beat the "lazy flu" that seems to go around atleast once for everyone.

Heck, I'm experiencing it now.

Keep doing all you want to do (if it's too much, leave one or two activities) and you'll get used to be always doing something. Trust me, you won't worry about laziness again, especially if you go to a gym, it helps a lot.

Yeah, you just have to make yourself and set a realistic goal for yourself. Once you start at the gym you will feel so much better you won't want to stop. The same thing with being organized.......it just makes things so much easier and once you have it you will just be glad you did.

I am lazy too, but I think the best way is to get motivated. Think of the future, is there someone in particular you want to impress? Something you'd work hard for? Maybe to make a loved one proud?

don't change everything all at once...you can't become a new person over night...besides, even the best of us have our lazy moments.

organize your time and don't waste it! try to fill up your schedules, for a while...and then you'll be used to having very little free time, and so you won't be lazy..
