This guy i've known/dated/hungout with off and on for 6 months finally brought up what was going on between us and he said that I "knew how he felt about me" but he didn't want to be in a serious relationship now, because he needs to concentrate on getting his life straightened out (which is definitely true), and when he is in a relationship he gets sucked into it and it is the only thing he focuses on (also very true- he's kinda obsessive about it and takes it really seriously-kids, etc). But he is "committed to me" and "isn't going to cheat on me". That sounds like a total b.s. line to me (except that i honestly think he needs to figure out his life before he gets serious w/ anyone), so I just figured there wasn't anything serious going on between us. But now he calls me almost everyday, but we rarely talk for more than a 1-2 minutes, because he has to get back to work, his phone loses reception, I can't hear him, etc. I don't get it. If we are not serious, why does he call so much?

he is serious he just does not want the label of serious ---- and why is he bs'ing about not cheating and commitment??? he may be genuine
