I just got my hair layered and the top layer is really think and kinda sticks out when I tie it up. I dont put my hair down coz its always in the way and it still doesnt look right. Can you help with any tips?

I have the same problem, I have tons of layers and the top one seems very very thick.
I'd get a flat iron and use some serums on your hair to help flaten it out or go to a salon and get your hair "thinned out"

i have the exact same problem. when i have to do uniform day i put it up.
and for softball i put it up real high but lose-ish so it doesnt hurt your head that much.
bobbypins and barrets can help at times if you need some at the time start bringing them with you like keep some in your pockets or clip them to your skirt or whatever your wearing.

Try using a hair smoother, but be careful to not make it too greasy... if it's bothering you that much, maybe you can go back in and see if they can possibly fix it or just wait and let it grow out! :]

i have it that same way, but whenever i go to my stylist he knows that i want it long layered, you know instead of cutting it first he leaves my hair the same length and he layers it. just let it grow and it'll look much better.
