Honey, you'll be fine. Saliva isn't really one of the main ways of spreading the disease (if its even a way at all). If you're having anal sex with the spitter, then yeah, I'll worry. But if its a friend that spits when he talks, dont even worry. You can make out with him all night and you'll be fine. HIV is very scary, but its only a need to worry if you share blood or other...more interesting(!)...bodily fluids.

an exchange of bodily fluids. Blood to blood, sex , saliva but only when the saliva is in direct contact with saliva or blood meaning the person would have to spit inside the other persons mouth and even then it is very rare, unless the person whose mouth was spit into had an open bleeding sore than it is not likely

It can be transmitted thru saliva, but the chances of you getting it from spittle in the air.....very small. There has to be an exchange. Kissing would make it more likely.

HIV can only be transmitted by mucus membranes, and blood to blood. So, if there was an open wound in the mouth theres a slight chance. Otherwise, no you are safe...............

You would have to come in contact with saliva when it is a certain tempature ....more then likely kissing open mouth and even then it is near to impossible
If you are that parinoid just stay away from them or just chill-out
It's not as if they have full blown aids

HIV isn't spread by mucous (snot), saliva, or tears. It comes from blood and intimate body fluids such as semen.

There is one documented case of infection by a bite. I'd say the odds are trivial.
