Most girls I meet, even just ones I'm only friendly with, love to talk about how dumb guys are. When you try to explain things to them they aways respond with something like, "You don't think we know that?" Do girls really think they're smarter than guys or is it just a front they put up to feel better about themselves?

I don't know why girls do that, but I have noticed girls in my son's class do the same thing. Hopefully they will learn that it only makes them look ridiculous and, well, dumb.
Of course, I was at his junior high school several afternoons when classes were dismissed, and the boys were walking down the hallways, talking, smiling, doing their own thing, and the girls were screaming, pushing, running, and being, well, obnoxious. I couldn't get over how more mature the boys were than the girls. Times have definitely changed. The girls today are like boys were many years ago. And the boys are more adult-like.

Maybe they respond that way to you because in fact you make them feel that way. If all girls are being that way towards you you need to check into yourself because not all women think that way we are all diffrent just like you men.Men are not dumb and neither are women.Some people are just better at some thinks than others. To some extent I'll say yes,bcos girls tend to think ahead and be more future focused than guys,who think of here and now. Also there are a couple of silly things that guys do that a girl would mos def do right.
It all depends tho'...lol

Most guys do dumb things and therefore most girls do think they are smarter than guys because we wouldn't do half the dumb things that guys do.

They're insecure, so they put up a front about how smart they are, when in reality they don't understand how guys really think at all.

I do think I am smart... but I do not understimate anyone... I think we are all smart in a way or another... I know my bf thinks I am the most intelligent girl and to me he's the most intelligent guy :)

Well, I'm a girl and I don't think that, but it depends, there's a lot of stupid girls and a lot of stupid guys, so you really can't underestimate or overestimate people.
