It means glorious olive branch. I don't know how it relates to Pope Benedict XVI. But, he is the last pope on Malachi's list before the end times.

The prophecies of St. Malachi are a forgery, and not accepted by the Catholic Church as legitimate.

No Pope has ever taken the name "Peter" as a tradition giving Peter his due respect. And no Pope ever will. Malachi is wrong on other accounts too.
