I'm interested in anything electrical or having to do with muscle. Any suggestions?

Do your research. What are your professors studying? If one of them is doing something you're interested in go find out where you might fit in. He can point you to some pertinent articles and maybe you will find a good direction.

If your school offers a Masters of Engineering program where you take a fellowship somewhere and work on a project there, I'd do it. In fact, I did. I worked in a biomechanics lab and have worked in the pretty exciting fields of neurostimulation and forensics. The work I did in the lab helped me land positions in both fields.

If you know any Ph.D. students, ask them for advice. They've been through it.

Hope this helps.

you are able to certainly take a sophisticated degree in a different field than your bachelors. as an occasion, my daughter double majored in Economics and Political technology with a minor in historic previous for her BA and have been given her Emergency medical Technician certification. She took her MSc in technologies administration, focusing on Transportation. whilst in grad college she did a fellowship in Washington DC. Now she is in a very funded PhD application in Civil Engineering.

Create a sensor that will pick up the signal from a nerve without damaging the nerve.

Then decode the signals from the nerve or associate different signals with different muscular responses.
