Well, it didn't "stand without comment" for me. I can speculate that you've been hurt by the truth, but that would be silly. MY only comment is truth to WHOM?

Because the truth is painful - any everyone wants you to be be truthful and honest but when people are - others get upset. If you dont want to be hurt then dont search for the trutth acept what you are told " No I am not having affair" "no I am not gay" " No you look great as a size 26 dont change" " I love your hair that colour it looks like a permanent blue sky"

Or, perhaps because YOU let it hurt YOU so much. There's an old saying in my country that says: "The truth is not sad... the sad part is that it has no cure"

it hurts because truth, real truth, is unrefutable and undeniable. but the vast majority of what people blab about as truth, is not truth.

usually truth hurts when we don't practice it,and it blindsides us.be real to yourself and tell the truth unless doing so will harm with malice another person.then don't lie ...just don't answer. we are only as sick as our lies.
