everytime i try one they always ask me to input some type of payment option. so that does not make it free now does it. can someone please help me out?

its the only place you can get one for free its the ones you are entitled to by law, unless you have been denied credit, insurance or a job.(you can get a free one in that case too) you do not have to buy anything, its your free credit reports you get by law

You can get a free credit report off of the internet. If you can't find the site, go to google and type free credit report.

get your credit report yes they require your credit card number but on day 28 cancel it that way they can't bill u they say try it frr for 30 days tell them U don't like it & you already got your report that's what I did lol.Good Luck

you can call all 3 reporting agencies and get one for free...
(phone numers are in your phone book or google for them)
