My cat just swallowed a rubber band. She thought it's a food, so she pounced and ate it before I could grab her. It has been 3 hours now and she seems normal. Will she be alright? I am thinking to take her to the VET tomorrow morning. I'm so worried about her now.

She also already pooped, but I don't see any rubber band in it. :(

Thanks. That rubber band was tied around the bag I pack mackerel for her, so she thought it's food too.

If possible I plan to take her to the Vet this weekend. :( She seems fine though.

You must take her to the vet, since it could wrap around and cause intestinal blockage= very serious.
Please.....and thank you for taking care of her. My cats eat everything they can find too, so we always have to remember that!

Take her to the vet right away. The rubberband could've wrapped itself around an organ or clogged an organ as well. If you take her to the vet he can catch this and treat her.
