ok so my aunt and uncle want to visit us in washinton dc,,and they live in providence R.I,,i am asking,, how many miles is it from providence R.I to washington D.C. ,,and how many hours is it gona take,also what are your thought about washington d.c??

Driving nonstop it is about 7 hours if there's no traffic, about the same on the train and it's just over an hour flight.

DC is a great city to VISIT... All the tourist places are close together and the Smithsonian is a great place, plus it's all free. However I grew up in the DC area and am in no hurry to move back

Go to MAPQUEST for your answer on the miles and time. Thoughts on DC? There are more firearms deaths in DC per year than Iraq. I think the goverment should pull out of DC. Lived there many, many years ago. Yuk.
