Even if she is really nice, if you wasn't interested, you'd tell her to stop, wouldn't you?
What if it doesn't go away and she somehow tries everyday, usually at the end of class when she says bye to him and tries to give a light touch on the back too?

This really hurts me because I want him to love me. If he doesn't care, he's doing a poor job of it. He gives me winks now and then (though I saw him do it once to someone else too.) I never give up and I am surprised he hasn't told me to stop yet, it's been going on for four months, almost everyday.

He doesn't ignore me. He's really nice. Especially to me.

Four eyes, are you being serious?
I would never want him to lose his precious job (those he has many other jobs, too) which is why I am waiting.

Not necessarily. He may be flattered by the attention, but not know the best way to handle the situation.

Some male teachers are really dense and don't notice. Others simply try to ignore it in hopes that the crush will go away by itself. Believe me, the last thing your teacher wants is to have any kind of personal relationship with you. It would cost him his job and it could even result in his being sent to prison if you are under age (which I assume you are) Give him a break and go after some young good looking dude in school instead. It is for your good as well as his.

I'm not a teacher or a dean, but I can tell you this from my personal experience:
I wouldn't tell her to stop. If this type of engagement still continues at the end of the class, this does mean she likes her a little more than a friend. Like, if a hot blonde girl sat next to me in class and she flirts with me, I wouldn't be bothered at all, unless she starts to do all that "nasty" stuff. LOL

Don't listen to these other fools. I doubt one of them even knows what on earth they're talking about. Do any of them remember what it was like to be a sixteen-year-old? The love you feel for your teacher is real and pure. I'm sure he feels the same way about you. I mean, why else would he not tell you to stop? What do you care if he gets fired? Maybe teaching just wasn't right for him, anyhow. On the bright side, if he does lose his job, he'll have more time to spend with you. I'm right behind you, girl!

I wouldn't tell her to stop....she's not really doing anything serious, but if she did try to do more than hug, the legally correct thing to do would be to tell her to stop what she is doing and report her. Remember, the teacher can get sent to jail for illegal actions with underage students.

For god's sake, girl, leave him alone and stop asking this question.
He's your teacher. He assuredly wants to avoid any and all awkward situations with female students (which could get him fired), so he's ignoring your advances because a) he just wants you to cut it out already, and b) he's trying to pretend you are not being a skanky little twit.

Please do all the teachers in the world a great favor and stop flirting with him. Don't you realize that you could get him in serious trouble? Hopefully he is not noticing you or is just ignoring it in hopes you will stop. If you care anything about him at all, don't do it. Or do you really just plan to get him in trouble so you can get in the news?
SERIOUSLY>>>>>>>>>>STOP IT

You are playing with fire. Maybe he is so thick-headed he doesn't get it. Maybe he is hoping if he ignores you, you will stop, and maybe he is a FOOL. But you are definetly acting foolishly. NOTHING but trouble would ever come from this. Stop now.
