i think there are some people that are just so closed off that they just cant get themselved motivated to get up and get out to go to the dr. some have become so closed off to society that the only form of communication they have with society is right her on the net.. and then again.. i think others use this to get a basic somewhat of an idea of what to expect inorder to build up what ever it is that they need to be able to get out and make themselves go. so they know wha tto expect and nothing comes as a supprise . i think if i was going to go to a new dr for something i never had gone to.. imay want to get a basic under standing of what to expect from other that had the same experiance or precidure befoere hand.. ithink it would help calm my nerves.. note.. i never use this as a replacement to medical advice or help.. only and opening to more information as to what to expect as to broaden my knowledge and expectations.. just another sorce.. as should others.

hi. asking medical questions instead of going to a Dr. is a consideration of two quite distinct human relationship possibilities.

the possibility of one being able to know and contact a medical doctor (or some other helpful person) and therefore to benefit by the knowledge and prospective wisdom of a Doctor.

but there is also the possibility of one being disabled by one or more conditions of self and society. and visiting a dr. takes on greater challenges the more conditions are confused by lesser esteemed of health care.

the fact of people asking medical questions is not directly related nor should it be considered as replacement directly for seeking professional advice.

and the fact that a people or a person may ask a question of medical or other value and classification and be respected for sharing dialogue and information for purposes worthy to a human relationship trying community do be have acceptance.

and that a person whom be not professional but have experience(s) pertaining in relationship and for the purpose to build in relationship may submit to respond with all of these considerations perhaps to burden as personal responsibility for social respectability.

be well all ways

I am afraid this will be happening more and more in America.
Very few people can afford a doctor's office visit charge plus
the meds he prescribes plus the tests. The medical field
has now become a luxury that only the wealthy can afford.
That is why it is imperative that the U.S. gets Universal
Health Care, meaning free access to health care. With just
a small % of everyone's payroll tax, we could have FREE
health care!!!

I believe that when it comes to mental issues especially anxiety disorders it really helps to know that you are not alone that there are actually people out there who have or are having the same experience you are. Once you get this reasurance it is much easier to go to a therapist and tell your story. If you don't have this reasurance I think it takes longer to open up because you feel your thoughts and symptoms are so weird that there must really be something terrible wrong with you and you are afraid to tell anyone.

Maybe its because Doctor's won't generally prescribe a cure for an ailment from a nutritional standpoint. Perhaps they'll prescribe an antibiotic for the patient, or other medicine, which may or may not address the nutritional deficiency being experienced. It is well known that for a vast array of ailments there is a nutritional deficiency responsible.

Maybe some people can't afford going straight to the doctor. Perhaps they'd like to see what others suggest or think of their problem. Or, maybe they aren't at all knowledgeable about their bodies.

Well maybe people want to see if anyone else has had the same experience and want to see if there is anything important that they need to know before they go to the doctors

Because most people aren't born with silver spoons in their mouths or a never-ending money supply. You sound like one of the lucky ones. Count your blessings and remember those who are less fortunate.

Some of us don't have enough money to pay for a doctor. Sad, but true.
