Yes, if you and your partner are both fine with it, theres really no reason not to, esp. if your "in the mood". Just lay down a few towels and have a shower together afterwards.

As long as both of you are comfortable with the idea (it can be quite messy). I suggest using a condom still, not only for the birth control b/c there is always the slight chance that even on your period you can get pregnant, very low but possible. It will probably make the guy more comfortable knowing that his junk isn't getting in all that messiness too. As the first to answer suggested a towel underneath is a great idea so you don't stain bedsheets too!
