In the Bible, Jesus is said to have walked on water. I have never heard of him teaching anybody how to do the same. Where did you get your version of that mythical tale?
To be able to walk, you need traction to be propelled on a surface. So, I guess the answer to your question is....no.
Flying, levitation, free fall, suspension, and floating is not walking....as other answers here have been given as examples.

Don't ever combine all the elements, or you'll summon Captain Planet. That's why people don't walk on air. He'll cut pollution down to zero, and by that, he'll kill you in your sleep.

If you've ever been on a hovercraft, you were walking, or sitting on air.
