Being a 2003 Ford Focus ZX3 Owner (Coupe) myself, I would say NO. The quality of the car is poor compared to other cars in the same class. Although I have to point out 2007 models have improved over the 2003 ones..exmple..Bigger brake rotors etc, new Duratec engine etc..

The bottom line is if you maintain well any car will run. I'm just saying there are other little cars out there that are built much better than a ford.

When they first came out in 2000, Ford put everything into this model as far as safety, detail, etc.
They really wanted to put a dent in the foreign competition as well as replace two lines from the '90's (Contour and Escort).
Seven years later, I have only seen minor body style modifications.
Everyone I know has good luck with them as long as they're taken care of.

That was my first car...awwwww I miss it. I bought one brand new in 2000 and just sold it last year. It was reliable and great on gas, not to mention cute!
I only had problems with the a/c only because it was wrecked shortly after I got it. But other than that, no major problems.
Good choice!

OOOHH! I just ♥ my 05' Focus!!! I even have a picture of it in my wallet! {LOL☺} I can put $10 worth of gas in it and it'll fill up half the tank!! That's so awesome! Plus it's ultra safe and the parts are readily avaliable since so many people drive them. I do wish I could've gotten a Hybrid one but "beggars can't be choosers"... You made a good choice!!

It is okay. Not much power but good gas mileage. I think it got a pretty good saftey rating. But you can't go wrong with a Ford.

Yes, it is absolutely a very good choice. Have faith, it comes with a 100,000 Powertrain warranty so Ford's got your back.

If you can afford it great, but preferences I wouldn't want 1. It's brand-new, you have to wait til it gets older to see the fit it causes you though. All cars are great new, but you have to let them get old.
