For me, it took longer than two weeks to get back to normal. Make sure you drink (ginger ale) so you don't dehydrate. Also, avoid a heavy diet. Soup, maybe rice, banana(potassium).
Hope you feel better soon.

I would change to a different cereal. There are different kinds besides rice. There is also multi-grain, and oatmeal. I would suggest trying that instead. And try a new fruit. You should be introducing a new fruit every 5 days anyway. If he doesn't want to eat solid foods at all right now, I wouldn't push it. He gets enough vitamins and nutrients from formula/breast feeding. Technically, the only reason to give babies solid food is for practice, he doesn't actually need it. If he's refusing to eat it, lay off it for a few weeks then try again. Don't worry, eventually he'll eat like the rest of us

Bad thing the tummy flu. Its biggest conquest is that it succeeds in killing alot of the healthy bacteria in your stomach that aid in digestion, may I suggest a steady diet of yogurt and acidofolus ( you can get it at the large grocery stores or a health food store) until you start to feel better. Worked for me, good luck

Goto the doctor ASAP. The Flu is going around everywhere a lot here lately. It could take months for you to get over it completely.
