I'm wondering how you knew that you were being given a Masonic handshake. Could it have been a fraternity handshake? A gang handshake?

If you are not a Mason and have no intention of seeking admission, then I would suggest you feign ignorance - e.g. act if nothing unsual happened. The alleged Mason will know that they made a mistake and will also act as if nothing happened.

Masons do not worship Satan and are not up to any nefarious activities of conspiracy heaven. Masons are a philanthropic organization (see: all the good work done by the Shriners) with high networking potential. If you know a Mason, then you might ask a few well-thought out questions about it.

If you know what it is, then by all means return it! If you are not a Mason, you're not supposed to know what it is, or even recognize that it's being given. That's how they identify each other. If you are already in the Masonic Hall, surrounded by eager masonic handshakers, and don't belong there, then you've got problems, friend!

They wouldn't give you a masonic handshake unless you are a mason and, if you're a mason, you should know what to do. By the way, don't listen to all of these people when they say masons are evil becuase, they don't know what the hell they're talking about.

It depends on which Masonic handshake it is.

If you're not also a Mason, you either ignore it, or snatch your hand back yelling "What the.....!"

If you ARE a Mason, then you know what to do.

Say..."yuk, yuk, yuk" while floating your hand into the air like a bird.

It is a sign of respect.

Run for your life and pray to Jesus that Satan didn't take over your body, since Masons worship Satan.
