First, I've found that cutting out caffeine actually has helped me a lot. It takes a bit longer to "get going" in the morning, but I don't have that mid-day slump.

Fatigue is often a sign that your body is dehydrated. Drink water all day long, even when you're not thirsty. You'll probably find a boost in energy.

A balanced breakfast, with some protein for sustained energy and carbs for an initial boost, will carry you longer than a donut, or worse yet, skipping breakfast entirely.

If you're getting enough rest, eating well, exercising, and hydrated, and you still feel this way, talk to your doctor. You could be anemic (low iron) or have other health problems.

Good luck!

Do you shower in the morning? if not, you should because it wakes you up and it makes you feel more energy. I've tried it. It doesnt work for the hole day but it helps.

Instead of sugar..Fruit. (even though it has sugar in it, it isn't the same kind of sugar as candy or pop or whatever)
Also, excercise in the morning as opposed to later in the day.. That is the best one.
