actually it happens to my mom. she's 51 and her middle finder of her right hand tends to get yellowish, numb and swollen when holding an object for example. do you why this happens?

If you're holding something tight it will cut off the blood flow in the finger and will cause it to become cold and numb. Once she lets go it will get blood flowing back in it.

Lack of circulation to the tip of you finger. after it turns yellow for awhile it will turn blue then drop off...
