I recently received free sample products - Anti-dandruff shampoo and conditioner from Head and Shoulders as a part of a product survey. I don't have any dandruff problem, though. What would happen if I used them? Should I?

Sometimes I will use it not for dandruff, but it seems to get rid of any hair product build-up as well. For example I can use the head and shoulder shampoo then use a lot of conditioning to smooth my hair and also use leave in treatment and I won't get any build-up or "gunk" in my scalp, if I go overboard on the products. It makes my hair look much cleaner.

I would think your hair would become very oily.

The reason people have dandruff is because their scalp is dry and the skin is flaky as a result. Dandruff shampoos restore moisture.

I wouldn't. I dont know what would happen, but I have anti-dandruff shampoo in my shower for my husband, but...Im kind of scared to use it....its brown and smells like medicine!

Ive learned....you dont always have to use everything that's given to you, you can pass it on....to someone who wont be offended!

Nothing bad can happen. Your hair may smell different. But just go right ahead!
