To SAVE A LIFE. My sister needed a bone marrow transplant as she has acute lympopasic leukemia. With out that she would have been dead with in 4 months. At the time she had three kids and the youngest was only 4. Lucky for us the family tested and my brother was a match. It was a long road and she had to have all the chemo and radiation which nearly killed her, that was to kill of the cancer cells, before she could have the bone marrow transplant. With out it she wouldn't be here now. That was four years ago and we still have our baby sister, thank to our brother. that is why bone marrow is important. You would want a doner if it was someone you loved wouldn't you. Why not give the gift of life.

For the sole reason that it could restore a much loved individual to the bosom of their family. Think of someone you love: daughter, son, mother, husband, friend, father, brother, sister, etc. Think of what life would be without that person. Wouldn't you want someone to make the small sacrifice in order to save their life?

You've got me, no clue....unless it'll save someone you know and like. When they start paying, I'll consider selling.
