I'm sure your cat will be fine. THink about all the cats out there tha teat garbage...raw meat, fish etc. I wouldn't be concerend at this point.

If your cat starts acting wierd, than maybe take him to the vet but I'm almost positive that your cat will be fine :)

That sucks! He should be okay. If he vomits a lot or has diarrhea, you should bring him to the vet. Otherwise, he should be fine.

He probably;y did not eat the fish. He might have scooped the little guy up and played with him for a bit. Check under your radiators, beds, and furniture. If you have a lid on your tank, maybe the cat did not get in. Check your filter to make sure the fish was not sucked in. Also scoop the gravel. If the fish died, He might have sunk to the bottom. They don;t always float.

House cats just like to play with the fish, they really are not into the sushi thing. You can always tell when the cat has been in the tank by his paws. See if he licks them a lot. He will be cleaning off the water from the tank.

Aside from that being one of the funniest things I've ever read, I have to say that I would probably take the cat to the vet. I'd think you're ok as long as your kitty is up to date on shots. However, there's no telling what kind of weird goldfish disease might be out there.

Clever kitty!

He'll probably be fine, but I suppose that depends on what kind of fish he ate.

It might set your mind at ease if you call your vet clinic and ask them what they think.
