Generally, your friend responds to some degree, maybe even calls you back.

In prayer you are not connected through technology. Think of it like programming a computer or something of the such. You are directly connected through your words and thoughts. After your done you have to believe. If you don't believe I would be in vain. If you believe it will happen the God will make it happen through you. You will then take the right steps to make it happen. One thing to note... If you use means to get what you want in prayer that are malicious it will come back to you through the people who you used to get it.

With the cell phone call, the other person knows you called.

With prayer, you may never find out if anyone was listening.

that's thoroughly unfounded. maximum cellular chargers have 5V output and below a million amp, whether you lick the probes it wont do a lot (besides the reality that it is going to easily zing you better than a clean 9V). often speaking all you will see is that the present draw coupled with the cost cycle will bring about the battery feeling warmer than regularly occurring, yet no greater effective than whilst that's been draining for a protracted era. the only possibility I even have heard these days is Dell's pc bear in mind yet given the blend of shoddy batteries, 20V output and close to to 5A present day load, that doesnt suprise me.

Not the same as prayer.

At least there was a person on other end of the phone line to begin with.

Hmmm.... no, can't say I have. But it essentially is the same as a prayer, except that no one hears ANY of a prayer.
