If you are still employed by that company, make sure to fill in a new W4 to have the correct amount withheld. Talk to your payroll dept to verify the numbers. If they are correct there is nothing that you can do to change this years return. If you end up owing on your tax return and can not full pay what you owe, call the Internal Revenue Service and set up a payment plan.
1-800-829-1040. Interest and penalties will be added to any balance due you owe after April 17,2007

If it is wrong, talk to your employer about a corrected W-2.
If it is correct, talk to your employer about changing your withholding. If it is right, you have no one to blame but yourself since you should know how much is withhold from each check.
If income is low, the withholding tables only deduct a small amount. That means that you will be under-withheld and you might have to pay when you file your return.

How many dependents did you list or did you fill your W-4 out as a student........................
You can't go back and change what has already happened - but you can change what they deduct now and in the future.
If you claim tons of dependents - then very little will be deducted.
If you claim as a Student - then they will deduct little to none.
Go to your HR person and ask how you filled out your W-4.

If you have any of your paystubs from that job, check them to see how much per pay was being deducted. This could be right, depending on what you had claimed on your W-4. If it doesn't look right after you check your paystubs, call the employer and ask them to verify their numbers.
