I'm 13 years old and I've been invited to my freinds Bar Mitzvah. I want to know what to bring wear and expect . direct advice or a web page would be great. Thanks.

If you're going to a Bar Mitzvah, it is as big a deal as someone graduating. The boy will become a man in the eyes of the church. There will be a ceremony, and the boy will read a passage of scripture in Hebrew.
Dress nicely, as if you're going to church, and ask his parents about gifts.

My Baptist neighbor gave my Jewish stepson a "Jews for Jesus pamphlet" for his Bar Mitzvah. That was inappropriate.

You should wear a jacket and tie and bring a small gift. You should stay "Mazel Tov" (Congarts) and Shalom (Peace) alot. You should stay away from the Bubbies at the buffet table...they're vicious.
