It may be a hybrid or something, but I'm curious either way.

I saw the dog at the local park the other day and was looking to adopt another of it's breed if it had one specifically.

There's definately some Chihuahua. He could be a mix of the long haired and short haired variety. His coloring is a little strange though. The Min Pin and Rat Terrier suggestions are good ones.
Why are you asking? Did you, or are you looking to adopt the puppy?

He looks like a Chihuahua mixed with something. Maybe with a Min Pin. He also may be purebred, just not the best example of the breed.

Chihuahua was definantly one parent, the other could be Miniture Pincher or Fox possible Rat Terrier. Though I have seen lots of so called "pure bred" chihuahua's that look like this.

chihuahua mixed with a min pin looks alot like a mix of those two
i would take the dog to the vets a vet who knows aloooot and has been around a long time and ask.....

It is a Chihuahua, you can tell by the dapple head and the pictures are up close so the ears look bigger than they appear.

it's a Chihuahua with no mix, my husbands grandmother breeds Chihuahua's and she had a full breed that looked just the same. But it's a Chihuahua
