Ok, say it with me, "friends with benefits." If you want to run this idea past ANY girl you must not say f-buddy to her, she'll turn you down. Honestly it usually works out bad for the guy, the girl will eventually develop feelings. That is the honest truth; it is difficult for women not to get attached to men that they have sex with on a regular basis. Only prostitutes can pull that off. Search through yahoo answers, there are tons of women saying how they have feelings for their "friend with benefits" and they want to know how to tell them. You'd do better just getting into a relationship with the girl and breaking up with her once you no longer enjoy the sex. (Geez, I sound like a guy, scary...)

Hmmm. Well, I'm in a friends with benefits relationship (no actual sex yet, but we're getting there) and it seems to be working out pretty well so far. The important thing is to be sure that you're both clear on the fact that this is JUST a physical thing, and that either person can end it if something else comes up, no questions asked. It's also good if it's with someone you trust and have a good friendship with, the kind where even when the f*** buddy thing is called off, you know you'll still be comfortable staying friends.

It really also depends on your moral beliefs and how experienced both of you are. If you think there's a chance either of you could develop serious feelings for the other, or if you don't think that you'll be able to go back to a platonic friendship afterwards, don't do it.

I don't think there is anything wrong with it. It's a matter of personal choice and if you choose to not commit to someone, then that is perfectly okay as long as you are taking care of yourself when it comes to sex. I don't think it's right or wrong because in this day and age, less than half all people don't wait til marriage to have sex anyways.

The pros of it, no commitment. no heartache. You don't have to feel all the issues with being in a relationship.

The cons, you may eventually fall in love with the person and actually begin to feel a void. You may have an urge to be with someone serious. If having unprotect sex, well, there are consequences like having a child or STDs.

Overall, i think the cons outweigh the pros, but if you take the initiatives and necessary steps to protect yourself, then i say be my guest and do whatever you'd like.

pros: u get it when u want and dont't care no strings attached

Cons: Too many emotions involved...Even though u say u don't feel anything unless u put a bag over there head. Feelin will start to arise and then b/c u have that agreement someone feelings will get deeper and some1 will get hurt. Plus u can get diseases.

Morality: Personally u shouldn't do it till ur married but It's whateva floats ya boat.

Nothing wrong with an F$%^ buddy, they come in handy and it's never too late to call up for a piece, till the real thing comes along. You'll know the real thing, she'll be the one you want to spend the rest of your life with and she'll feel the same way about you.

free will, having F*** buddies requires a emotinal detachment that not many people have plus it's danegerous if not done with protection. if mature enough to know what you want then go for it.
I personally have problems sepparating love and sex so I cant have one of those yet.
quick note: dolphins are the only other animal that has sex for fun.

I think it's wrong for me. I just don't want to be called a slut, I mean I get called it enough with only having slept with my long term boyfriend....

I think it's okay if you're single, not wanting commitment and keep it to yourself.

personally, I don't think it's right because it's not going to develop into anything, and it's going to be a serious hindrance once you want to move on to more serious relationships. but that's just me
