Very Good cynthia, you have actually touched on something very few people realize. the exodus in a way was a foreshadowing of the redemption we have found In Christ Jesus. The isrealites were under bondage and slaves to the Egyptians, we were Bondsmen to sin and slaves to its power. God made a way to reedemn isreal to him and release them from the bondage of egypt, the isrealites were commanded to shed the Blood of a spottless lamb and put non the door post, and death would pass over them. This final plague convinced the pharo to let Gods people go. When the Christ Y'shua came to die for our sins, he was the Final sacrifce of our sins, allowing us to be free from death through repentance and faith in Him, and allowing us to be set free from the law of sin and death. praise be to Y'shua! praise be to Y'shua! I am thankeful that I saw myself in the lgiht of Gods law, and thst I ad sinned against God (lied, stolen, looked with lust, usee Gods name in vain.) I understood that Y'shua died for our sins, we broke the law and Y'shua paid our fine. I repented toward God and trusted in Y'shua as Lord and savior, and Now I have been forgiven and granted the gift of everlasting life. Jesus has reedemed me from the law of sin and death, and I have been empowered to live my life to HIm.
God Bless
