you should just go by how comfortable you feel. the dog has fur but i would not take it out if it is 20 degrees or under but you can always get a dog jacket i have one for my dog and he actually loves it

I know that my dog is 3 lbs and has pretty much no hair when i take her out put a sweater on her i wouldnt walk your small dog if it is under 32 degrees
