We were bf and gf for 2 yrs then we broke up and i havent talked to him in a while. should i stop focusing on this 8th grader?

If you still care about him it shouldn't matter what grade he is in, and don't worry about what anyone else thinks. If it really bothers you then just find someone else.

Concentrate on your school work you are too young too be dating there will be plenty of time for all that when you are done with School and yes this means College too. If you are a Freshman in highschool I suggest you get good grades and dont' be day dreaming or else you won't be accepted into a good college and probably wind up pregnant with a dead beat husband and a dead end job at a young age.

I personally think age doesnt matter. Stop focusing on him if you think in your heart that things won't work out. If you haven't talked to him in a while then im guessing they wont.

If you still care for him then no you shouldnt stop focusing on him. Age is nothing but a number, my husband is 25 and I am almost 28.

it doesnt matter on age im a 9th grader too.. but since youre a freshman just focus in your performance in your academics. if hes not an obstacle then yeah daydream about him all you want...and if he does but him aside for a while, but still talk to him

If you really like him it shouldn't matter. I used to like this sophomore when I was a senior but because everyone thought it was weird for me to date a sophomore i didn't do it.
I really regret it. Don't look back and wish what could have been.

if you broke up with him then he there's a chance he's mad at you for it. (guys are really immature in 8th grade)
and if he broke up with you then.. well he probably doesn't want to go out anymore.

if you still think a lot about him then talk to him...I know you are going to school with older kids now and you may feel a little funny, but talk to him anyways...Like you said, it's been two years...maybe he's nothing at all like he used to be...We all change...good luck with whatever you do hun
