problems, not crazy mental, but, more like the 'How the hell will I ever manage to handle this crap?'....I used to go to a place in the last town I lived in, two, three years ago...they helped. My problem is, I need a sliding scale payment. Some weeks I make zero dollars, sometimes 50.....my old place was free as long as I attended all the programs they set me up for....Is there any place like that now? Anyone who will talk to me, help me get my head on straight?

I would call a psychologist in your town and ask them specifically if they can refer you to someone who accepts sliding scale payments. Most therapists, if they do not accept sliding scale payment, will know someone who does.

dont know if you are in a large city or not, but my YMCA offers counseling services and they are on a sliding scale...find someone..call your county's mental health department ...call NAMI..the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill...they have tons of references..if it helped before to help get your head straight, then it will work again..get on the pnoe..and good luck...

Yahoo is not the place to get mental help, most here need the same helpp you do, check your local mental health dept. or just ask a Dr. but do not depend on Yahoo for your mental health!

Contact your public health department. They should be able to help you find a place.
