Try to take good notes in class and review them each day so that the facts are clear in your mind. Also, read ahead of the class.

Try to make your own tests, quizzes and see if you know the material.

I'm a junior nursing student and i find study groups that break the chapters down and each person does an out line helps a lot.. also the straight A books are really good. and all thought the books seem scary it does help to read them.. don't cram.. read a tad each night. and if they give you resources like meds pub and eri use the remediations they can help.

Good luck in your endeavors

When I was in school for pharmacy I had a lot of brands and generics and also a lot anatomy. I used 3 by 5 cards, and I would write cardio on one side and on the other I would write what it means. That's how I had study for all of my exams while I was in school and it help me a lot to remember a lot of things (don't forget to take good notes in class most of the time what the teacher says in class would also be on the test).

For anything you need to memorize, use flashcards they really help. Going into pharmacy so I have lots of meds to memorize. Take really good notes. Notes are everything and explain the material better than the book can (usually if you have a good instructor). Good Luck!
