Genesis 4:17 says, "Cain lay with his wife, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch." Who was his wife? It is implied in the biblical text that Cain married one of his sisters. Several facts lead us to this conclusion.
First, it is clear that Adam and Eve had a number of children. Genesis 5:4 says, "After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters." Since Adam and Eve were the first man and woman, and since God had commanded them (and their descendants) to be fruitful and multiply (Genesis 1:28), it seems reasonable to conclude that Cain married one of his many sisters. It is also possible that he married a niece or even a grandniece.
One must keep in mind that in the early years of the human race there were no genetic defects that had yet developed as a result of the fall of man. By the time of Abraham, God had not yet declared this kind of marriage to be contrary to His will (see Genesis 20:12). Laws governing incest apparently did not become enacted until the time of Moses (Lev 18:7-17; 20:11,12,14,17,20,21). Hence, there was no prohibition regarding marrying a sister (or niece or grandniece) in the days of Cain.

These kid's answers are for real! ....Now we can all go have some cookies & milk....
Edit: Okay, so no one has a sense of humour. Surprise surprise.
However, how come it took god 2,500 years to decide, hmmm, in-breeding is a problem? Poor god. Lost in the shuffle. It's all about Jesus, who did NOT die for our salvation but was crucified with many others. CHECK THE HISTORY. If this could logically be explained, that somehow, his death redeemed all the SINNERS, why did he (according to the bible) cry out at the last moment that he had been forsaken?

Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul.
Genesis 2:18 And the Lord God said, it is not good that the man should be alone, I will make him an help mate for him
Genesis 2:21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof
Genesis 2:22 And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man made he a woman and brought her unto the man.
Genesis 1:28 God instructs to multiply and replenish the earth.
I know you said you won't read the Bible, I don't blame you it is difficult to understand, but the book of Genesis is very easy to read and understand, and it would answer all of your questions.
Hope this helps

Well, I have heard 3 theroys, and I will gladly share them. Then give my own :-) The first, is that Adam and Eve were the only people, and that they had to reproduce multiple times. The second is that we evolved from apes, and the bible is a complete bogus lie, and that Adam and Eve, were techically the first "Said" people. The third, and the one I agree with. Is that The bible is basically the story of Christ right? Yeah, basically. So if the bible is truelly the story of Christ, than maybe Adam and Eve were the first people in that "part of the world" In other words, Adam and Eve were say in the desert...while another adam and eve were in China, so on, and so forth. Muliple adam's and eve's....see where I am coming from? Well, its hard to explain, but basically the bible is Christ's story, and the story of his followers, up to A.D. something. So if it's all about Christ, then Adam, this Adam, was his first ansestor. But while Adam was in the desert, who's to say there wasn't a Adam2 in China?
That theroy was the only one that made sense to me...I hope it made sense to you, and that I answered the question.
God bless you

God created Adam and Eve. Their children would have had to marry one another in order to populate the earth. This would not have been a problem genetically because at that point in time the genes would not have been filled with mistakes that now cause mutations when close relatives have children. It would not have been a moral issue either because the law forbidding the marriage of close relatives was not made until the time of Moses.
Hope this helps.

There is debate on that. Some say God made races before Adam and Eve, and may have recreated the Earth. He did tell Adam and Eve to replinish the earth, rather than "plenish". The earlier humans may have been races that exisrted before God re-created the earth.
Or, the other "races" of humans, Neadnderthal, Cro-Magnon, etc., may have been Adam and Eve's descendents that didn't make it on the boat.
Adam and Eve were Black. They were black. All people alive on the Earth today are descended from one woman from Africa (funny, the Bible says something like that too). DNA tests say she was black.
There are 3 races, Negro, Caucasian, and Asian. Noah had three sons. Go figure.
Work out the theory that sounds best to you. Even scientists don't agree.

First there was Adam and Eve, but you read about the geneology to. The next story is Cain, after God pronounces his punishment, he tells God that someone will come after him, but Cain does not say ti is his parents, that tells you that there are more people on the Earth at that time, so Adam and Eve had more children, before they they had Cain and Abel, because cain was afraid his brothers and sisters would kill him after killing his and their, brother Abel. Yes Adam and Eve's first couple of children had to marry each other, maybe Eve had a couple of sets of twins.

Well, if you believe in creationism, you'll learn that they were the only two people. But they used to live for a very, very long time, so they were able to make tons of babies (poor Eve! She must have sufffered so much when giving birth!). So, we are all brothers our cousins, since there were only 2 people at first.
So, some people might ask: but doesn't the Bible forbid people from sleeping with their brothers and sisters, and cousins (which is basically what Adam and Eve's kids did!)? Because if people from the same family have sex together, people end up being crazy. Well, a creationist will tell you that at first, people were perfect, which is why Adam and Eve's grand-children and great-grand-children were perfect. But then, because the generations a bit farther down the family tree were not perfect anymore, God decided that we shouldn't breed among families.
I don't believe in creationism, as you might have guessed, but here it is in a nutshell. See 2nd or 3rd answer for the METAPHOR of Adam and Eve.

Adam and Eve were the first people created, and to our knowledge, the only humans in the Garden of Eden. When they disobeyed God, they were expelled from the garden and told that they would grow old and die.
After this, God apparently did make other people who lived someplace else. There isn't any record of Adam or Eve having contact with other people, but when their son Cain killed his brother Abel, he was sent away. The Bible records that Cain went to some other village and got married to a strange woman.
