No i have never bought a doggie in a window. But singer Patti Page a singer in the 50,s wanted to. She asked How Much is that doggie in the window with one with the waggley tail . do not know the rest of the song and probably tou are too young to remember. The question caught my eye right away.

Don't buy puppies from the window. I know someone who did and payed 1600 for a dog that would have been 75 from the pound. put pet stores out of business.

Those pet store puppies are oh so cute, but they come from puppy mills. Don't buy a pup from a pet store. Do not even buy supplies from there. If people stop doing business with pet sgtores that sell puppies, they will go out of business.

Yes i bought my shitzu puppy from the pet store & she cost $450, i live in Australia & i dont think we have puppy mills here.

Not all pet stores buy from puppy mills, many have healthy locally-bred dogs.
