In Spanish it is called "birra".Used in dishes that can also replace pork or beef.Like tacos,enchiladas or sopas.It does have a more "wild "taste",but is moist and stringy in a good way.

Here in NZ goat meat is sold locally and exported. The marketing people think goat meat sounds vulgar so they call it chevron.

Some places call it chevron. Or goat. Depends on the place. If it is a baby goat, we mostly call it cabrito though it is also called kid.
