Any is too much unless it is prescribed to you by a doctor because it is an anti-depressant and can really mess up your brain chemistry if you take that much suddenly. 500 mg is an especially huge dose, as prescribed doses start at 100 mg and gradually get higher over months. Don't sell your or your family's medicines because you would not want to be responsible for messing up somebody else's brain (at least I hope you wouldn't) and, of course, it's illegal for that reason and you could go to jail.

I know they retail for 7$ each. You'll pass out for a very long time if you take that dose!
