Expenses for SNU http://www.snu.edu/?p={6DF2F655-522F-444A-9EE3-20244E7DF829}

Expenses for OBU http://www.okbu.edu/admissions/costs.html

It looks from the information that two schools provide that OBU could be as much as $1000 a year less (at least during the 2006-2007 school year). I have to say it was easier to find out the information on the OBU website over the SNU website which I for one think speaks better for the University in that they are less deceptive in these fees (I use to work for the URI financial aid office and I will tell you it was my experience that school schools that are cleaner with such information are usually better to deal with). Honestly I don't have a preference to either school because as far as faith goes I was raised under Reformed Judaism. I hope the links and the information I have giving you is of help. I would just suggest that a $1000.00 might not be enough to judge one school over another.

Good Luck!!!

The best choice is applying to both universities. With the nursing shortage, there are a lot of different scholarships and grants out there for student nurses. I even came across a student loan forgiveness program offered by a government agency. Also, some hospitals and health facilities do offer a bonus for nurses. However, Oklahoma Baptist University is the cheapest of the two if going by tuition alone, and I recommend going by the university who gives you the best financial aid package. I will list some free sources that can help with funding your college education.

First, fill out the FAFSA form because it will tap into need based financial aid from the state and federal governments along with the university itself.

Second, current high school students can locate local scholarships at the high school guidance office.

Third, the public library has a book listing scholarships with some not even listed on the web.

Finally, join several free membership scholarship search websites. There are scholarships out there for ethnicity, hobbies, school activities, volunteer work, and even a scholarship for wearing duct tape to the senior prom. Most are updated on a regular basis. Most offer a customized search based on information entered into a form on its website.

Good luck!
