It depends on what model it is and what options it has. I know they can get up there. When I bought mine in 1984 it was a 300D Turbodiesel and the list price was $29,000, making it near the lower end of the line, but there were some smaller models less than that. I recall at the time the price range went up to at least $75,000 to $95,000, and that was over 20 years ago. So, I would say that $125,000 is in the range of possibility, depending on the model.
Mine died at 453,000 miles, so the purchase price cost me 6.4c per mile over its lifetime. I guess that's cheap. How many cars can you name that can get almost a half million miles?

That's an expensive car, but not out of line for a Mercedes-Benz.
Probably one of the top end Mercedes. Nice ride.
But it's either a piece of junk at $125.00 or a new car for $125,000.00
US currency does not have a 125.000 format.

If you mean $125,000. Thats alot. It would be the higher end of the Mercedes cars.
But if you mean $125.000 thats how much an 81' Honda with 500,000 miles on it would cost.

Depends on which Mercedes they are buying.
The SLR McClaren would be a good deal at that price.
An S600, SL500, and CLS and corresponding AMG versions would be a decent buy at that price.

Would that be $125,000?? I'd say its too expensive BUT, a trip to Kelly Blue Book at www.kkb.com will provide a more informed answer to this question.

$125 is very cheap. $125,000 is a nice sum of money, you could buy a house with that. Its either the S500 or the SL500

Depends on whom you ask. If someone is jelious, you will get a negitive responce. But I feel that it is your money and if that is what makes you happy and everything else is taken care of i.e. house, etc. then take pride in it and enjoy!

Wow. No. In fact, there is probably some serious issues with the car if its only 125 bucks. I'd pass on that lemon.

Yes, that is too much to pay for a car. Your parents won't be rich long wasting money like that.
