In a hurry for Jesus? Tired of waiting for the almighty? Call 1-800- brain dead, for quick painless reunification.
In other words. Isn't going to happen. So instead of wasting your whole life for the arrival of a non-existing being, why don't you go out and enjoy the only life you got. At least read a calender, it is 2007. Not the middle ages. Grow up.

Jesus is not coming back to save us from the consequences of our own stupidity, soon or otherwise. First generation christians told each other that to reassure themselves that the persecution would not last forever... that soon they would be rescued from the oppression and torture they were experiencing.

Be careful how you speak, Jesus could come for you tonight. But don't make the mistake of thinking that also must mean the end of life for anyone else.

I hope so. God's being really patient. Waiting for as many to be saved as will before it's too late.
Jesus was referring to the generation that is alive when the signs of the end begin.

He's over 2000 years late according to the Bible.
In Luke 21:25-32 Christ tells his followers about the end of the world and his pending return from heaven and then tells them that their generation would not pass away before these things happened.
That was over 2000 years ago.

Well my dear you will still be waiting long after you and I are gone from this world, one day you will realize that the dead are dead just like you and I will be one day, we simply will cease to exist.
